Wallbox (NYSE: WBX), a leading provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, has announced the addition of three new members to its Board of Directors during its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders. The newly elected directors are Jordi Lainz, former Wallbox CFO; Ferdinand Schlutius, Co-CEO of ABL, a German EV charging solutions pioneer acquired by Wallbox in 2023; and Paolo Campinoti, Executive Vice President overseeing EMEA, APAC, and LATAM for Generac, a minority investor in Wallbox. Detailed biographies of the new directors are provided below.
New Board Members:
Jordi Lainz, Former CFO, Wallbox:
Mr. Lainz has joined the board after serving as Wallbox’s Chief Financial Officer from 2019 to 2024. He previously held the roles of Corporate Director and CFO at Eurofred Group from June 2011 to February 2019, and Director and Audit Committee Member at Ficosa International, S.A. from May 1998 to May 2011. Mr. Lainz holds an Economics degree from the University of Barcelona and is a certified auditor in Spain (Censor Jurado de Cuentas).
Ferdinand Schlutius, ABL Co-CEO:
Mr. Schlutius, currently Co-CEO of ABL, a company known for pioneering EV charging solutions in Germany, has joined the Wallbox board. Before becoming Co-CEO, he served as Head of Sales for ABL Group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from WU Vienna.
Paolo Campinoti, Executive Vice President – International, Generac:
Mr. Campinoti has been appointed to the board while continuing his role as Executive Vice President responsible for EMEA, APAC, and LATAM regions since Generac’s acquisition of Pramac Group in 2016. Based in Italy, he remains the CEO of Pramac Group, a position he has held since 1995, transforming the company into a global leader in power generation. Mr. Campinoti earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Florence and has held various honorary consul positions.
