As the all-new 2025 INFINITI QX80 begins its limited rollout to retailers nationwide, it has already garnered a significant accolade. The luxury SUV has been named a Top Pick in the 2024 Newsweek Autos Awards. Newsweek editors evaluated vehicles across 13 categories and selected the QX80 as a Top Pick in the “Goal Getters” category, which highlights vehicles suited for successful individuals seeking a reflection of their style and personality. The evaluation considered various attributes, including driving experience, design, technology, and luxury features.
“The all-new QX80 exemplifies INFINITI’s commitment to redefining the luxury automotive experience,” said Craig Keeys, Group Vice President, INFINITI Americas. “We are honored that Newsweek Autos has recognized the QX80, which offers outstanding craftsmanship, advanced technology, and a commanding driving experience.”
Unveiled earlier this year with a striking display over Manhattan prior to the New York International Auto Show, the 2025 INFINITI QX80 redefines its segment with exceptional hospitality, meticulous attention to detail, and technology designed for a seamless, effortless drive. The SUV features the latest iteration of INFINITI’s Artistry in Motion design language, presenting a powerfully evocative design that blends minimalist forms with finely crafted details. Inspired by natural shapes, such as light reflecting on water, the QX80 incorporates cutting-edge technologies like a rear combination lamp made up of over 300 LED bulbs.
The QX80 sets a new standard for three-row luxury SUVs by providing a first-class cabin experience. The interior features available first- and second-row massaging seats, semi-aniline leather upholstery, and open-pore ash wood trim with laser-cut metal inlays. An optional 24-speaker Klipsch® Reference Premiere audio system delivers rich, lifelike sound throughout all three rows. Advanced technologies include the Invisible Hood View1, which helps drivers navigate obstacles by providing a virtual view through the engine bay, and Biometric Cooling2, which uses an infrared sensor to direct cooling air to overheated second-row passengers.
In true INFINITI fashion, the QX80 offers a powerful and commanding driving experience. It is equipped with a new twin-turbocharged V6 engine that delivers 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque for effortless acceleration. The available Electronic Air Suspension adjusts the vehicle’s height for different scenarios, such as lowering when parked for easier loading, while the optional Dynamic Digital Suspension adjusts damping force to road conditions for a smoother, more stable, and comfortable ride.
