Faraday Future Unveils Collaboration with Inaugural US-Canada Hanlin Cup Golf Classic

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. a California-based global intelligent electric mobility company, has announced its collaboration with the inaugural US-Canada Hanlin Cup Golf Classic. This partnership may open doors to additional opportunities aimed at enhancing the brand visibility of FF and the Faraday X (FX) brand.

The first US-Canada Hanlin Cup Golf Classic begins on September 30 in Yorba Linda, California. The two-day event will take place at the Yorba Linda Country Club and Black Gold Golf Club, with an awards ceremony set for October 1. Organized by the Chinese “Hanlin Cup” Golf Classic Committee, the event is hosted by the Global Alumni Golf Alliance of Jilin University and the Southern California Chinese University Alumni Association. Co-organizers include several amateur golf clubs such as the Happy Valley Golf Club, Southern California Chinese Golf Club, Jilin Friends Golf Club, Angel Golf Club, and the Jilin University Los Angeles Alumni Association. Nearly 140 entrepreneurs, investors, and celebrities from the U.S., Canada, and China are expected to participate in this prestigious event.

The “Hanlin Cup” Golf Classic is one of China’s top amateur golf tournaments, having held 15 successful editions since 2010. It serves as a platform for elite university alumni to connect, exchange ideas, and promote friendship and service. The event also plays a key role in advancing the development of golf across Chinese universities.

In 2024, the tournament expects participation from nearly 100 universities, with plans for over 80 events involving more than 6,000 alumni. These tournaments will engage hundreds of thousands of alumni, potentially setting new records for team and player involvement. The prestigious golf event is making its North American debut, with its first tournament in Los Angeles followed by a second in Vancouver, Canada.

“We are honored to collaborate with such a prestigious golf event that holds significant influence within the Chinese American community,” said Matthias Aydt, Global CEO of Faraday Future. “We look forward to exploring broader partnership opportunities across various fields with this organization.
