Nokian Tyres is marking the 90th anniversary of the winter tire with a special consumer rebate throughout October, offering discounts on its winter, all-weather, and all-season tires. From October 1 to 31, U.S. drivers can benefit from mail-in rebates on Nokian Tyres’ renowned Hakkapeliitta winter tire line, as well as models from the Nokian Tyres One, Outpost, and Remedy families. “October is a crucial time for drivers to prepare for winter road safety,” said Hans Dyhrman, Director of Marketing for Nokian Tyres North America. “Whether drivers need dedicated winter tires in colder regions, all-weather tires for areas with lighter winter conditions, or all-season tires for milder climates, we are here to help them make the right choice.”
The rebates include:
- $80 off a set of Nokian Tyres Hakkapeliitta 10 and Hakkapeliitta R5 winter tires
- $80 off the new all-weather Nokian Tyres Remedy WRG5
- $80 off the all-terrain Nokian Tyres Outpost APT
- $60 off the all-season Nokian Tyres One
The rebate applies to tires purchased from participating U.S. retailers, with the funds being delivered via prepaid card. To qualify, drivers must purchase eligible models between October 1 and 31 and submit their invoice by November 30 for rebate processing.
Nokian Tyres pioneered the winter tire in 1934 and brought the all-weather tire to North America in 1999. Its tires for the U.S. and Canadian markets are produced at its award-winning facility in Dayton, Tennessee, where it expanded production capacity and added a finished goods warehouse in 2024.
This October, Nokian Tyres is also celebrating the 25th anniversary of the all-weather tire and the 90th anniversary of the winter tire, which continues to be manufactured in Finland and rigorously tested north of the Arctic Circle.
