The 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling appearance package has launched, featuring a vibrant color palette of red, orange, and yellow inspired by Ford’s iconic Free Wheeling trucks and vans from the ‘70s and ‘80s.
Originally offered from the late 1970s to early 1980s, the Free Wheeling package was available for models like the Ford F-100, F-150, Bronco, and Econoline van. It included distinctive graphics with red, orange, and yellow gradients, painted steel wheels, and black finishes on the grilles, mirrors, and bumpers. The interiors featured red and orange pinstriping on the dashboard and seat stitching.
The 2025 Bronco Free Wheeling pays homage to that bold and lively aesthetic. “Bronco has always been about fun and capability since day one, and the Free Wheeling package enhances that with its sunset-inspired beach vibes,” said Steve Gilmore, Ford’s Vehicle Personalization chief designer.
This modern take incorporates today’s fashion and graphic trends, with seats reflecting the exterior color palette and unique pops of color that create an optimistic look. The Free Wheeling package is available for the Big Bend trim and includes reflective graphics on the body sides, silver door handles, and an Iconic Silver grille featuring a “BRONCO” wordmark outlined in red with a white center.
Standard features include 17-inch gloss-black steel wheels, while the optional Sasquatch package upgrades to 17-inch gloss-black wheels with a machined lip and red accents. All Bronco Free Wheeling SUVs come with unique seating combining Marine-Grade Vinyl and fabric upholstery.
Additionally, the Free Wheeling package offers an optional premium Shadow Black painted roof alongside the standard soft top and available molded-in-color removable hardtop.
