A Revolutionary Charging Experience

The technology behind the Lucid Gravity’s charging capabilities includes a patent-pending solution that utilizes the vehicle’s rear motor drive unit to boost the charging voltage of standard 500V chargers to match the high 926V battery pack of the Lucid Gravity. This novel solution allows the Gravity to maintain efficient charging, even at the highest voltage output of a charging station. The vehicle can seamlessly charge at both 500V and 1000V networks, ensuring maximum charging speed regardless of the charger type.
At peak charging rates, the Lucid Gravity can add an impressive 200 miles of range in just under 12 minutes. This makes long road trips or last-minute drives more feasible and less stressful, as the vehicle can be charged in mere minutes rather than hours.
Lucid’s introduction of the first NACS (North American Charging Standard) port-equipped vehicle in the Gravity is another game-changer for electric vehicles. For the first time, a non-Tesla vehicle will be able to access the Tesla Supercharger network without requiring any adapters. The Lucid Gravity’s NACS charge port is located on the rear driver’s side of the vehicle, providing easy access to V3 and V4 Tesla Superchargers.
