In addition to unveiling its first Tech Center in Asia, XPENG has announced ambitious plans to establish its advanced charging network outside of mainland China. Hong Kong has been chosen as the first city to host-branded charging stations, with a rollout scheduled for 2025.
The first XP Supercharging stations will be installed at Lai Sun Commercial Centre and the Convention Plaza. This development makes the first Chinese smart EV brand to set up its proprietary charging facilities in Hong Kong, highlighting the company’s dedication to enhancing EV infrastructure. Furthermore, plans to deploy 360kW+ XP Hypercharging stations, significantly reducing charging times and improving convenience for EV owners.
