Amprius Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: AMPX), a leader in advanced lithium-ion batteries with its Silicon Anode Platform, has announced the appointment of Livingston “Tony” Satterthwaite as an independent director on its Board of Directors, effective August 13, 2024. Satterthwaite will also join the Board’s Compensation Committee.
With over 30 years of experience in the transportation and power generation industries, Satterthwaite brings a wealth of expertise that will be valuable for Amprius as it continues to innovate and engage with customers in the transportation sector.

Satterthwaite, who was also elected to Amprius’ Advisory Council in September 2023, is currently a Director at IDEX Corporation, The Chemours Company, the National Association of Manufacturers, and the Cummins Foundation. He serves as a Senior Vice President at Cummins, Inc., focusing on enterprise challenges and aligning business units with IT and digital solutions.
Additionally, Mary Gustanski, who has been on the Amprius Board since June 2023, has stepped down, effective August 12, 2024. Amprius thanks her for her contributions. Following these changes, the Board will consist of seven directors, with six being independent.
