Eataly, the renowned global Italian marketplace, is excited to announce its partnership with Concorso Italiano for the 2024 Monterey Car Week. The prestigious event, held at Bayonet & Black Horse Golf Course in Seaside, California, is known for celebrating Italian automotive design and culture.
The festivities begin on August 16, 2024, with the Concorso Italiano Gala Dinner, a charitable evening featuring Italian music, cuisine, and fashion. The main event, on August 17th, will showcase a vast array of fine Italian cars and motorcycles across 5,000 square meters of the golf course’s fairways.
As the exclusive food and beverage partner, Eataly will provide a diverse array of culinary delights at the Concorso Italiano Food Pavilion and in VIP and Chairman’s hospitality areas. Guests can look forward to Italian classics such as Insalata Caprese, Lasagna alla Bolognese, Roman-style pizza alla pala, stuffed focaccia, gelato, tiramisù, and espresso-based coffee drinks.
Richard De Andrade, Chairman of Concorso Italiano, expressed his enthusiasm for Eataly’s involvement: “Cuisine is a key element of the Italian lifestyle we celebrate at Concorso Italiano. We’re delighted to partner with Eataly to highlight Italian food and wine excellence.”
Tommaso Brusò, CEO of Eataly North America, added, “We’re thrilled to be part of Monterey Car Week with Concorso Italiano. Since opening Eataly Silicon Valley in 2022, our goal has been to bring the best of Italian cuisine to the community. We look forward to sharing our culinary heritage with motor enthusiasts at this iconic event.”
In the lead-up to the event, Eataly Silicon Valley and Eataly Los Angeles will feature in-store displays, including a vintage Fiat 500, or Cinquecento, for visitors to enjoy while shopping.
