Ferrari is launching two new extended warranty services specifically for owners of its plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models: the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, SF90 XX Stradale, SF90 XX Spider, 296 GTB, and 296 GTS. These programs, named Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid, are designed to help maintain the performance and excellence of Ferrari’s hybrid sports cars over time.
The Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid services can be purchased in packages renewable for two to four years and are available through any official Ferrari dealer, regardless of the car’s production year. Even vehicles no longer under the initial three-year factory warranty can activate these programs following a technical inspection by Ferrari dealer personnel.
Owners of Ferrari PHEVs already benefit from a five-year warranty on hybrid components. The Warranty Extension Hybrid program extends this coverage, providing a factory-backed, all-inclusive warranty that covers the entire car. If the warranty is extended up to the eighth year, Ferrari will replace the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) at no additional cost.
The Power Hybrid program allows customers to extend the factory warranty on all major powertrain components, including those related to the hybrid system, from year eight to year sixteen. It also includes a no-cost replacement of the HVB in the sixteenth year.
Both programs ensure that any replacement HVB will feature the latest battery technology, maintaining the same performance as the original. Additionally, the Warranty Extension Hybrid and Power Hybrid services are transferable to subsequent owners.
These new services demonstrate Ferrari’s commitment to providing customers with complete peace of mind and highlight the company’s leadership in after-sales services.
