In a carefully controlled, real-world test, the Silverado EV WT broke boundaries, traveling 1,053 miles on a single full charge—setting a new world record for EV range. No major modifications were made; the test vehicle used production components and followed common efficiency practices like lightening the load, optimizing tire pressure, using a tonneau cover for better aerodynamics, and maintaining steady, low-speed driving.

The Silverado EV ZR2 concept race truck was built to endure the grueling conditions of the Mint 400, one of the most demanding off-road races in North America.
