Laser Photonics Corporation (LPC) (NASDAQ: LASE), a leading developer of industrial laser systems for cleaning and material processing, has announced an international order for two of its advanced laser machines—the CleanTech 100-CTHD and the MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro—from a global oil and gas producer through an overseas distributor.
Laser ablation technology is becoming increasingly important in the energy sector, offering a safe, sustainable, and efficient solution for removing rust from critical equipment and infrastructure. This technology helps restore equipment integrity, minimize leak risks, and ensure uninterrupted functionality.
The CleanTech 100-CTHD, a precision pulsed laser instrument acquired by the international oil and gas producer, features dual-axis technology for effective processing of complex shapes and surfaces. This compact and mobile handheld unit is ideal for in-field cleaning, polishing, and surface preparation.
“This order represents a major milestone for Laser Photonics as we make strides into the oil and gas market,” said Wayne Tupuola, CEO of LPC. “As the benefits of this innovative cleaning technology become more recognized, our laser-blasting solutions are proving versatile across various industries.”
The second product, the MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro, is LPC’s premier laser marking system. It offers precise, permanent marking on a range of materials, including curved and textured surfaces. The MarkStar 20-MSH-Pro is efficient for identification, traceability, and inventory management, and operates maintenance-free with no consumables.
This sale underscores LPC’s growing international presence. While North America remains a key market, the increase in overseas sales highlights LPC’s expanding brand recognition and opens doors to new customer opportunities. By engaging with diverse markets, LPC is well-positioned to form new partnerships, adapt to industry needs, and drive innovation, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and advanced technology on a global scale.
