The Li i8 will be available in three variants: Pro (RMB 321,800), Max (RMB 349,800), and Ultra (RMB 369,800), with customer deliveries set to begin on August 20, 2025.
A New High-Voltage BEV Platform
Built on Li Auto’s newly developed high-voltage BEV platform, the Li i8 features a proprietary electric drive system, a 5C battery pack, and is supported by the company’s expansive 5C ultra-fast charging network across China.

Available in 90.1 kWh and 97.8 kWh configurations, the Li i8’s ternary lithium 5C battery enables a CLTC range of 670 km and 720 km respectively, with standard all-wheel drive. Thanks to its low-drag design and in-house drive motor, the vehicle boasts an exceptional range attainment rate. The advanced battery management system supports ultra-fast charging—up to 500 km of range in just 10 minutes—and maintains over 80% battery health after 1,500 full charge cycles.
China’s Largest Super Charging Network
Li Auto supports its BEV ecosystem with the largest super charging network among Chinese automakers, operating 3,000 stations. This includes 1,000 highway locations spanning key national routes and 2,000 urban sites across 250+ cities, ensuring seamless charging with average spacing of 150 km on highways.

With a sleek, low-drag design (Cd 0.218) inspired by luxury yachts, the Li i8 delivers both visual impact and aerodynamic performance. Measuring 5,085 mm in length and offering a spacious 3,050 mm wheelbase, the vehicle maximizes interior room and visibility, exceeding full-size SUV standards.

Performance and Handling
The Li i8 delivers exceptional handling stability and ride comfort, thanks to its low center of gravity from the battery-electric architecture. With a torsional rigidity of 49,500 Nm/degree, a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension, and lightning-quick 0–100 km/h acceleration in just 4.5 seconds, it offers the performance of a sedan with the utility of an SUV. Accessibility is also a key highlight, with a second-row side sill ground clearance of 401 mm, making entry and exit effortless for all passengers.
Premium Comfort and Versatility
The cabin of the Li i8 is designed to rival luxury MPVs. It features all-new wraparound seats with improved cushioning and support, including a zero-gravity seat in the second row for unmatched relaxation. The third row provides seating comfort comparable to top MPVs, and even with all three rows in use, the trunk offers a generous depth of 565 mm—ideal for families on the go. Optional additions such as a large floating table enhance the utility of the space, creating an environment comparable to the Li MEGA’s luxury offering.
Advanced Safety Innovations
Safety remains a top priority for Li Auto. The Li i8 features a front compartment engineered with a multi-path force dispersion structure, using three longitudinal energy pathways and 11 circular energy-absorbing units for superior crash performance. Extended curtain airbags, secure door handles that function during power failures, and a battery system that meets strict global safety standards—including tests for submersion and freezing—highlight Li Auto’s dedication to occupant protection.
On the active safety front, all Li i8 variants come standard with LiDAR sensors and advanced Automatic Emergency Steering (AES), ensuring proactive collision avoidance.
Smarter Driving with Li AD and VLA
The Li i8 introduces next-level assisted driving across its range. The Pro trim features the Li AD Pro system powered by Horizon Robotics’ J6M chip (128 TOPS), while the Max and Ultra trims are equipped with the Li AD Max system, featuring the powerful NVIDIA Thor-U chip (700 TOPS). By year-end, urban Navigate-on-Autopilot (NOA) will be supported on the J6M platform, significantly expanding assisted driving capabilities.
The AD Max models also debut Li Auto’s self-developed VLA Driver Large Model—an AI system with human-like reasoning, memory, and communication. Built on reinforcement learning, it continually improves driving performance, delivering smoother, safer, and more intuitive maneuvers including tight U-turns, underground parking, and multitask execution. This model leverages Li Auto’s deep R&D in algorithms, data infrastructure, and cross-platform deployment.
Smart Space Powered by MindGPT
The Li i8 also reimagines the smart cockpit with Li Xiang Tong Xue Agent, an evolution of its in-car voice assistant powered by the in-house foundation model MindGPT. This AI assistant now performs complex, multi-step tasks using integrated tools, from adjusting climate control through smart air vents to scanning QR codes for parking payments using the vehicle’s external cameras.
It also integrates with third-party platforms like Meituan for food pickup and introduces Desktop Master, an industry-first tool that enables users to write programmable code directly in the vehicle for custom content, services, or tools. With Face ID and a new family account system introduced in June, the AI assistant delivers personalized experiences while maintaining data privacy and security for each family member.
