Magnachip Semiconductor Corporation (NYSE: MX) has introduced four new 40V MXT MV MOSFETs, designed in compact Power Dual Flat No-Lead (PDFN) 33 packages for automotive applications. As vehicles increasingly incorporate advanced technologies such as autonomous driving and infotainment systems, the demand for high-performance, low-power MOSFETs is growing. These new MOSFETs address this need with their reduced size and weight, offering a 60% reduction in area and a 75% reduction in weight compared to previous models.
The new MOSFETs, including models AMDV040N029LVRH, AMDV040N036LVRH, and AMDV040N042LVRH, feature a low gate threshold voltage of 1.8V. This low voltage decreases the energy required for operation, leading to lower overall power consumption. The key specifications are:
