Ohmium International, a leading company in the green hydrogen sector that specializes in designing, manufacturing, and deploying advanced Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) electrolyzer solutions, is excited to announce the appointment of Enakshi Singh as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Singh brings over two decades of experience in strategic finance, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) in high-tech manufacturing, making her a significant asset to Ohmium.
Before joining Ohmium, Singh was the CFO at Zymergen, a publicly traded biotech innovator, where she played a crucial role in multiple rounds of private financing and led the company through a successful IPO. During her time there, Singh established a high-caliber finance team, facilitated rapid managerial decision-making, and ensured transparency in resource and capital allocation. She also managed investor relations, oversaw acquisitions and integrations, and ultimately helped facilitate Zymergen’s sale to Ginkgo Bioworks.
Previously, Singh was the Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Mubadala Development Company in Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s largest sovereign wealth funds. At Mubadala, she managed complex semiconductor investments and contributed significantly to the growth and expansion of Global Foundries, one of the largest semiconductor chip manufacturers globally. Her tenure was marked by notable achievements in enhancing operational efficiency and financial planning.
Singh began her career in investment banking, focusing on the technology sector. As a Vice President of Technology Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch and an analyst for Latin America Investment Banking at Citi, she advised on numerous M&A transactions and capital-raising efforts for major public and late-stage private companies. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
“I am excited to join Ohmium,” said Singh. “The company’s dedication to advancing hydrogen technology aligns perfectly with my passion for energy transition. I am impressed by Ohmium’s innovative technology and the talent of its team. I am eager to contribute to Ohmium’s mission and use my experience to help drive the company’s success.”
Singh’s extensive background, global perspective, and strategic vision make her a valuable addition to Ohmium as it continues to lead in the hydrogen energy sector. Her deep experience in high-tech industries and proven ability to guide companies through transformative growth phases will be critical as Ohmium strives for commercial scale and broadens its global presence.
