PHINIA, a global leader in premium fuel systems, electrical systems, and aftermarket products, has released its 2024/25 Emission Standards Booklet for heavy-duty and off-road vehicles, engines, and machinery. This comprehensive guide is the only one of its kind globally, helping vehicle and engine manufacturers, along with industry professionals, stay informed about the complex and evolving landscape of emission regulations. Originally published in 1993 by Delphi, PHINIA’s leading global aftermarket brand, this is the first time the booklet has been issued under the PHINIA name.
The guide offers the heavy-duty and off-road industries an in-depth understanding of critical emission standards, supporting manufacturers and professionals in their efforts to meet stringent requirements and embrace cleaner technologies. It covers key regulations from regions including the EU, USA, Japan, China, South Korea, and India, along with other relevant areas.
“PHINIA’s advancements in fuel-efficient combustion technologies and development of lower- and zero-carbon alternatives are driving a more sustainable future,” said Todd Anderson, Chief Technology Officer at PHINIA. “For over 30 years, we have published the Emission Standards Booklet to help the industry stay at the forefront of cleaner and more efficient technology. This guide consolidates global emission standards, empowering the industry to meet environmental goals and lead in delivering cleaner, more efficient solutions.”
Anderson further highlighted that the release of the booklet follows the launch of PHINIA’s inaugural Annual Sustainability Report, which outlined the company’s sustainability strategies, 2023 environmental and social performance, and responsible business practices. PHINIA is committed to developing products and solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce the environmental impact of vehicles, industrial machinery, and other applications, and this guide aims to support the industry in doing the same.
With over a century of vehicle manufacturing expertise, PHINIA and its portfolio of brands—Delphi, Delco Remy, and Hartridge—continue to provide market-leading solutions that contribute to a lower-carbon future, focusing on cleaner combustion and alternative fuels.
