Taiwan Excellence Presents 10 Leading Taiwanese Brands at Automotive USA 2024

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will showcase 10 prominent Taiwanese brands at the OEM-focused Automotive USA 2024, taking place on October 22 and 23 at Huntington Place in Detroit. This year’s theme, “Accelerating Progress: Forging the New Automotive Era through Technology and Partnerships,” aims to engage automotive leaders and potential partners in meaningful discussions.

The week will kick off on Monday, October 21, with executives from five of the leading Taiwanese brands participating in a VIP breaking news day. They will present and engage in roundtable discussions with industry leaders, media, and guests during an Executive Forum from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in LaSalle A and B on Level 5 of the Detroit Marriott in the Renaissance Center.

Mingya Lin, director of the Economic Division at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Chicago, will open the Executive Forum with remarks. Featured presenters include Matt Ke, president of AUO America; Franco Lai, general manager of the automotive business unit at Pegatron; Anthony Le, vice president of marketing at Macronix America; Sebastien Jean, chief technology officer at Phison; and Paul Wu, CEO of Carota.

Discussions will revolve around equipping automakers to adapt to advancements in human-machine interfaces, AI, autonomous systems, over-the-air (OTA) technology, and cybersecurity.

Attendees and media interested in the Executive Forum are encouraged to RSVP in advance.

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion will be accessible to media and show attendees from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on October 22 and 23 at Booth No. 23 in the Atrium at Huntington Place in Detroit.

In addition to the five brands featured at the Executive Forum, the pavilion will also highlight Pegatron, known for customized car entertainment systems; CUB Elecparts Inc., which manufactures electrical and electronic components for OEM and aftermarket applications; Foxtron Vehicle Technologies Co., Ltd., an electric vehicle (EV) joint venture; Delta, a global provider of power and thermal management solutions; and oToBrite, a leader in vision-AI, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and autonomous driving solutions.
