Faraday Future’s YT Jia Shares Weekly Update Ahead of FX Super One Global Launch Featuring Cody Walker
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. a California-based mobility technology company, continues to build momentum in the countdown to the global debut of its flagship FX Super One multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). In the latest installment of his weekly update series, YT Jia, Founder and Co-CEO of Faraday Future (FF), detailed recent business milestones, strategic partnerships, product innovations, and an exclusive preview of what to expect at the July 17 global launch event.
Just Days Away: The FX Super One Global Reveal
Opening with a sense of anticipation, Jia welcomed readers to “Issue 011” of his weekly business update, noting that only four days remain until the FX Super One’s Global Initial Product Launch. Teasers and countdown posters have been shared across FF’s channels, but full details of the revolutionary product and its underlying technologies are being held for the July 17 unveiling.
“We’ll see in just four days what kind of revolutionary product and technology the FX will deliver,” Jia teased.
Strong Progress in B2B Ecosystem Growth
At the heart of Faraday Future’s strategy is its “co-creation” ecosystem — a unique blend of direct-to-user engagement, business-to-business (B2B) collaboration, and influencer-led marketing. According to Jia, the FX Super One’s B2B business model gained significant traction this past week with an additional 700 units under binding deposit agreements for non-binding pre-orders, bringing the cumulative total to 4,800 units.
Several new partnerships have helped broaden FF’s reach into industries that align with its user-centric model:
- MetaMega Group (MMG): A Southern California-based family office services firm has signed a deposit agreement for the FX Super One. MMG provides bespoke financial and lifestyle solutions for high-net-worth families, a key target demographic for FF. This collaboration exemplifies the brand’s “scenarios are the showroom, and trust is the channel” sales philosophy — where relationships drive transactions.
- The Alps MCN Agency: As a global multi-channel network (MCN) and strategic TikTok partner managing over 3,000 influencers, The Alps’ partnership further validates the effectiveness of FF’s online direct sales and co-creation ecosystem. Influencers are playing an increasingly pivotal role in how next-generation vehicles are marketed, sold, and experienced.
- Space Auto: A Beverly Hills-based premium car dealer has joined as a B2B partner. Known for its focus on ultra-luxury vehicles, Space Auto is opening a new flagship location in West Covina. The collaboration aims to tap into the Los Angeles and Orange County luxury automotive market, with FF positioning the FX Super One as a blue-ocean product in this segment.
These partnerships, Jia emphasized, reinforce FF’s end-to-end B2B2C strategy, allowing for both market penetration and long-term brand positioning.
Stockholder Engagement and Sales Initiatives
Faraday Future is also turning its focus inward — to its shareholder base. Under Jia’s leadership, the company has launched a Stockholder Perks Program through a new partnership with Stockperks, an investor engagement platform. This initiative provides eligible shareholders with a $3,500 voucher toward the purchase of the FX Super One, symbolizing FF’s commitment to aligning financial stakeholders with its user community.
In tandem, the company rolled out a “One-Click Fast Reservation” tool for the FX Super One. Once consumer reservations officially open on July 17, users will be able to secure priority delivery through an easy digital process, aimed at simplifying and accelerating the path to purchase.
“Super One, You are the One,” Jia wrote, inviting investors and users alike to co-create the future of intelligent electric mobility.
Technology and Product Evolution
In addition to preparations for the FX Super One launch, FF is continuing its enhancements of the FF 91, its original flagship vehicle. A significant upcoming feature is the integration of an AI-powered B-pillar gesture recognition system, which will allow occupants to open or close vehicle doors using intuitive hand motions — no physical contact required. This feature will debut via an over-the-air (OTA) software update and is being developed for future integration across the FX lineup.
Also under development are exterior gesture control functions, further elevating the intelligent interaction capabilities of FF vehicles. Jia noted that patent filings for these systems are expected soon, underlining the brand’s commitment to technological leadership in the smart EV space.
Filling a Market Gap: A Red-Carpet MPV
In a more personal note, Jia shared a message from a longtime Hollywood industry friend, who praised the FX Super One for addressing a long-neglected need: a truly elegant, red carpet–ready MPV for celebrities, premieres, and A-list events.
Despite the prestige of the entertainment industry, no MPV had truly embodied the style, elegance, and presence required for major appearances — until now. Jia noted that the FX Super One is being designed not just as a mobility solution, but as a cultural statement for elite users.
Star Power at the July 17 Launch
The highlight of the update was Jia’s preview of the upcoming global launch event, scheduled for 7:30 PM PDT on July 17. In a major announcement, Jia revealed that Cody Walker, actor and brother of the late Paul Walker, will appear live on stage as part of the launch celebration.
Cody Walker, known for his automotive enthusiasm and his connection to the Fast & Furious franchise, will serve as an FX Developer Co-Creation Officer, representing the next evolution of FF’s developer co-creation model. In this role, Walker will help drive product feedback, public engagement, and technology discussion — directly contributing to the FX brand experience.
“Developer Co-Creation Officers won’t just help shape the product,” Jia explained, “they’ll be deeply embedded throughout the launch, delivery, and sales journey, unlocking new value through true collaboration.”
This model represents a strategic fusion of celebrity influence, community engagement, and technical feedback — a hallmark of Faraday Future’s disruptive approach to the automotive sector.
