Zeekr and Mobileye to Enhance Technology Partnership in China

Zeekr and Mobileye are deepening their technology partnership, aiming to enhance localization in China and integrate Mobileye’s advanced technologies into Zeekr’s upcoming vehicle models. This collaboration will focus on boosting driving safety and automation both in China and globally.

Since late 2021, Zeekr has delivered over 240,000 Zeekr 001 and Zeekr 009 vehicles, equipped with Mobileye SuperVision™ technology, to customers worldwide. In response to growing demand in China, the partners plan to accelerate the deployment and scaling of core technologies for the Mobileye SuperVision platform.

The expanded collaboration will allow Zeekr to leverage Mobileye’s advanced road intelligence technologies across its vehicle lineup. Zeekr engineers will gain improved access to Mobileye’s technologies and development tools, enabling more efficient data validation and software updates. This effort will also expedite the rollout of comprehensive automated driving solutions for other Mobileye customers in China.

Key Mobileye technologies, such as the Driving Experience Platform (DXP), will be tailored to local needs. DXP enables automakers to customize driving styles and customer experiences. The partnership will also combine Zeekr’s cutting-edge vehicle tech with Mobileye’s autonomous driving technology to develop next-generation products for ADAS and driverless vehicles (Level 2+ through Level 4), utilizing the EyeQ6H system-on-chip.

Zeekr plans to extend the use of the SuperVision platform to additional vehicle models and enhance the coverage of its Navigation Zeekr Pilot (NZP) systems. Currently, the highway NZP based on SuperVision operates in over 150 cities across China.

“Mobileye’s collaboration has significantly advanced intelligent mobility solutions for Zeekr users,” said Andy An, CEO of Zeekr. “We look forward to furthering our cooperation with Mobileye, achieving new technological milestones, and delivering enhanced driving experiences globally.”

Prof. Amnon Shashua, Mobileye’s President and CEO, added, “This expanded partnership will support the localization of SuperVision technologies in China and make these innovations available to Mobileye’s customers in the region. It also marks a significant step in our collaboration, extending to next-generation products across a broad spectrum of driving levels.”
