Faraday Future Expands Robotics Strategy With Long-Term Employee Equity Incentive Plan

Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. also known as Faraday Future or FF, has announced a new long-term employee equity incentive plan for its robotics subsidiary, FF EAI Robotics Inc. (FFR), as the company continues to expand its strategy in embodied artificial intelligence and robotics.

Under the newly announced 2026 Equity Incentive Plan, FF EAI Robotics intends to allocate approximately 25% of its capitalization on a fully diluted basis for stock options and other equity incentives designed for its core management team, key leaders, and employees. The initiative is intended to connect the long-term interests of the robotics team with the growth of the business and its enterprise value.

Faraday Future said the initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen FF EAI Robotics and establish a partnership-oriented organizational model within the robotics industry. Importantly, the equity issued by FF EAI Robotics under the plan will not be convertible into equity of Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.

The company said the structure is designed to provide employees with a greater connection to the long-term development of the robotics business while supporting its broader ambitions in embodied AI.

Equity Incentives Linked to Long-Term Growth

YT Jia, Founder and Global CEO of Faraday Future, described the initiative as a mechanism for creating long-term incentives and sharing value with the people responsible for developing the company’s robotics business.

According to Jia, the objective is to link the long-term interests of the core team with the growth of the robotics business and enterprise value. Faraday Future believes that creating this connection can encourage a stronger partnership mindset, sustained employee commitment and a focus on long-term value creation.

The plan represents an effort to move beyond conventional employee compensation structures by giving selected members of the robotics organization a direct economic interest in the future performance of FF EAI Robotics.

For technology companies operating in rapidly developing sectors such as artificial intelligence and robotics, attracting and retaining highly specialized employees can be an important organizational challenge. Engineers, AI researchers, robotics specialists, product leaders and other technical professionals are increasingly sought after across multiple industries.

Faraday Future believes that a long-term equity incentive structure can help FF EAI Robotics compete for this talent while encouraging employees to remain focused on the company’s long-term objectives.

Building a Robotics-Focused Organization

The equity plan comes as Faraday Future continues developing its embodied AI strategy. The company is positioning FF EAI Robotics as a key part of its broader EAI ecosystem, with an emphasis on integrating artificial intelligence with physical machines capable of operating in real-world environments.

Unlike software-only AI systems, embodied AI involves the interaction between intelligent software, sensors, computing systems, physical machines and their surrounding environments. Robotics is therefore a central component of the company’s strategy.

FF has said its objective is to develop what it describes as a “One-Brain Multi-Form Multi-Capability” FF EAI Robot World. The concept is designed around a common artificial intelligence foundation that can support multiple types of robotic platforms and applications.

The company is developing this ecosystem through what it calls a “Four-Core Full-Stack AI” strategy. According to FF, this approach is intended to bring together the core technologies, hardware, software, AI capabilities and data required to support its robotics products and solutions.

Robot World 2.0 Reaches 11 Models and 24 Products

Faraday Future said its Robot World 2.0 portfolio is now complete, covering three robot forms, five series, 11 models and 24 products.

The company believes the portfolio gives it broad coverage across different robotic applications, physical configurations and sizes. FF also describes the lineup as one of the most extensive robotics portfolios currently offered by a U.S. robotics company.

The strategy is intended to allow FF EAI Robotics to address different customer requirements through a common AI ecosystem rather than developing completely independent technology stacks for every robot.

At the company’s 919 FF EAI Robotics “Four-Core Full-Stack AI” Ecosystem New Product Series Launch, FF introduced nine EAI Device configurations covering two robot forms, three series and five models.

The newly introduced products include the FF All-New Futurist, FF Master Mini, FX Aegis Hyper, FX Aegis Mega and FX Aegis Classic Ultra-W.

According to the company, all nine configurations are now available for sale and delivery.

The product strategy reflects FF’s intention to expand beyond a single robotic platform and create a broader family of EAI devices that can potentially serve different environments and use cases.

Industry Productivity Solutions Expand the Business Focus

In addition to its robotic hardware lineup, FF launched four Industry Productivity Solutions aimed at K-12 education, research, security and inspection.

These solutions demonstrate the company’s focus on using robotics as a productivity platform rather than limiting its technology to a single consumer application.

In education, robotic platforms can potentially support classroom demonstrations, technology training and hands-on learning involving AI and robotics. Research applications can provide platforms for experimentation, development and testing of new robotic and AI technologies.

Security and inspection represent another potential area for embodied AI. Robots equipped with sensors, computing capabilities and AI systems can be developed for environments where monitoring, observation or inspection activities may benefit from automation.

By developing solutions across multiple industries, FF EAI Robotics is seeking to broaden the potential applications of its technology and create multiple pathways for commercialization.

A Partnership-Oriented Model

One of the most significant aspects of the new equity incentive plan is Faraday Future’s intention to establish a partnership model within the robotics organization.

The company said it aims to become the first robotics company to implement such a model, using equity participation to encourage employees and leaders to think more like long-term partners in the business.

Under this approach, selected employees could have a stronger financial connection to the success of FF EAI Robotics. The company believes that this could encourage employees to focus not only on individual responsibilities but also on the overall growth and enterprise value of the robotics business.

Faraday Future said the objective is to encourage entrepreneurship, creativity, collaboration and long-term commitment among its core team.

The structure is particularly relevant to robotics because developing commercially successful robotic systems can require years of research, engineering, testing, product development and market expansion.

Potential Benefits for the Company

Faraday Future has identified several strategic objectives behind the incentive plan.

One is talent attraction and retention. The company expects equity incentives to improve its ability to compete for experienced executives, robotics engineers, AI specialists and other highly skilled professionals.

Another objective is organizational alignment. By connecting employee incentives with the long-term performance of FF EAI Robotics, the company aims to align the interests of employees, management and the broader business.

The company also expects the plan to support an entrepreneurial culture. Rather than viewing employees solely as members of a conventional corporate organization, FF wants its core robotics team to adopt a partnership-oriented approach to building the business.

This could be particularly important as the company seeks to move from product development toward broader commercial deployment.

Focus on Stockholder Value

Faraday Future also emphasized the potential relevance of the plan to its stockholders.

The company said the incentive structure is designed to maximize long-term stockholder value by linking the interests of its core robotics team to the growth of the robotics business.

FF believes that stronger alignment could encourage greater operating efficiency, sustained execution and a focus on creating long-term enterprise value.

However, the company has also made clear that the equity involved in the new plan belongs to FF EAI Robotics and is not convertible into FFAI shares. This distinction separates the subsidiary-level incentive structure from direct ownership of Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.

The company views the structure as a way to develop FF EAI Robotics as an increasingly independent and entrepreneurial business within its broader ecosystem.

Robotics Industry at a Commercial Turning Point

Faraday Future said it believes the global robotics industry is entering an important stage as technologies move from development and validation toward broader commercial deployment.

Advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, sensors, computing hardware and robotics are contributing to the development of increasingly capable physical AI systems.

For companies operating in this market, technological capabilities alone may not be sufficient. Organizations also need experienced teams capable of turning research and prototypes into reliable products and commercially viable solutions.

FF’s incentive plan is therefore intended to address both technological and organizational requirements.

By providing long-term equity incentives to key personnel, the company hopes to create an environment where employees have a continuing interest in the development and performance of the robotics business.

Expanding the Embodied AI Ecosystem

The employee incentive plan represents another step in Faraday Future’s broader effort to build an embodied AI ecosystem.

The company’s strategy combines robotic devices, artificial intelligence, software, data and industry-specific applications under a common technology framework.

The completion of Robot World 2.0, with three robot forms, five series, 11 models and 24 products, provides the company with a broader portfolio from which it can pursue different commercial opportunities.

The addition of solutions for education, research, security and inspection further expands the potential application areas for its technology.

At the organizational level, the new equity incentive plan is intended to provide the people developing these technologies with a long-term stake in the success of FF EAI Robotics.
