Electric vehicle (EV) drivers will soon enjoy improved access to high-speed public charging stations, thanks to a new partnership between Nuvve Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: NVVE) and WISE EV. Nuvve, a global leader in vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology, and WISE EV, a top provider of sustainable energy solutions, are teaming up to install EV chargers at over 100 high-traffic locations nationwide.
“We’re enhancing the appeal of EV adoption by addressing range anxiety,” said Gregory Poilasne, CEO of Nuvve. “These charging stations will not only meet the immediate needs of EV drivers but also offer crucial grid services by incorporating Nuvve’s V2G technology, which helps stabilize the grid during peak times.”
This announcement coincides with the unveiling of the first Nuvve and WISE EV charging stations at the Minority Business Enterprise Input Committee Open House in Las Vegas. The event will highlight the evolving needs of EV charging infrastructure.
“This partnership is more than just a technological advancement; it’s about addressing the gaps in EV charging availability across the country,” said Kevin Williams, President/CEO of WISE EV. “It represents a significant milestone in our mission to create a more resilient and sustainable energy future. Together, we are expanding the reach and impact of our technologies to benefit underserved communities and businesses.”
