Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), today announced its association with Toyota Greater Bengaluru Bidadi Half Marathon 2024. Organized by the Bidadi Industries Association (BIA) Foundation, this exhilarating marathon is scheduled on March 24, 2024, starting at 5:00 AM, at the picturesque Jollywood Studio & Adventures, Bidadi. The much-awaited Toyota Greater Bengaluru Bidadi Half Marathon is the first, and flagship event of the BIA foundation, serving as a platform for community development, promoting safety and sustainability awareness in the Bidadi industrial region.

Being the first of its kind marathon in the Greater Bangalore region, the event is receiving huge response, and to cater to the diverse participants, the marathon is categorised across 21Km, 10Km and 5Km for the age group 16 years & above and a special category of 3Km for children 15 years & below. The Toyota Greater Bengaluru Bidadi Half Marathon 2024 embraces more than just the thrill of running. With a striking theme of “RUN FOR SAFETY & SUSTAINABILITY”, it showcases a multifaceted initiative aimed at fostering a deep-rooted sense of trust, social responsibility, and community among the residents of the Ramanagara district. The marathon resonates with the goal of promoting health, fitness, and a sustainable lifestyle for all participants along with championing responsible road usage and compliance, setting the pace for a future, where road safety and conscientious commuting are not just encouraged but celebrated.

The BIA Foundation, established in 2023 and registered under the Indian Trust Act, is committed to channelizing community development activities in and around the Ramanagara district. With the generous support of industries in the Bidadi Industrial area and beyond, the foundation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of the local community. The marathon is a testament to unity, teamwork, and the indomitable spirit of the community among all BIA industries, striving to create a positive and lasting imprint on the social fabric of the region.
