On May 20th, Ma Lei, Managing Director of Dongfeng Motor Corporation International Business Department and China Dongfeng Motor Industry Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., along with Omar, General Manager of Cevitale Group, attended the inauguration of Dongfeng’s Head Office in Algeria. This event signifies a new phase in the partnership between Dongfeng and the Cevitale Group of Algeria.
During the ceremony, Dongfeng showcased a range of its flagship products, drawing significant interest from local residents and media. Hennop, an African customer, commented on Dongfeng’s social media, saying, “I have used Dongfeng products in Africa for more than 15 years. Dongfeng products have excellent configuration and experience, and Dongfeng Motor is trustworthy.”
At the event, the Dongfeng SHINE passenger vehicle and Dongfeng KX commercial vehicle garnered substantial attention. The SHINE boasts a stylish design, featuring the only 13-inch super-large central control screen in its class and a 1.5T Mach power + Gertrak DCT powertrain, offering a maximum power of 145 kW and maximum torque of 300 N·m. The power output is smooth and powerful, with seamless shifting. The Dongfeng KX commercial vehicle, equipped with the Dongfeng Cummins Z14 engine, delivers a maximum power of 560 HP and maximum torque of 2640 N·m. It includes advanced safety features like lane departure warning, front collision warning, and lane keeping, providing users with an unparalleled efficient transportation experience.
Currently, CEVITAL Group has introduced several Dongfeng models, including passenger vehicles, heavy trucks, light trucks, and pickups, into the Algerian market. They also plan to introduce high-end electric vehicles such as VOYAH and MHERO in the future.
