CCC Intelligent Solutions and Elitek Deepen Integration to Automate Sublet Service Documentation in Collision Repair Workflows
CCC Intelligent Solutions Inc. a leading cloud-based platform that powers the property and casualty (P&C) insurance economy, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Elitek Vehicle Services, a division of LKQ Corporation. This latest development deepens the integration between Elitek and the CCC Diagnostics Network, adding the ability to seamlessly incorporate Elitek’s mobile sublet services directly into CCC ONE® workfiles.
The enhancement means that Elitek’s mobile service collision repair customers can now capture not only diagnostics information but also non-diagnostics sublet services in a fully digital, automated manner. By streamlining the capture of this data, repair facilities can reduce administrative burdens, eliminate manual steps, and maintain more complete and accurate repair records.
From Diagnostics to Comprehensive Sublet Service Integration
This expanded capability builds upon the foundation established in 2023 when CCC and Elitek first connected their systems. The initial integration allowed repairers to automatically receive and store documentation from Elitek’s remote diagnostics services within CCC ONE, including invoices, scan results, and calibration reports.
In this next phase, that same automation is extended to a broader range of services. Elitek’s mobile technicians perform a variety of on-site sublet tasks—from advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS) calibrations to complex mechanical and electrical repairs—that previously required shops to manually upload supporting documents. Now, the relevant service information and paperwork can flow directly into the CCC ONE repair order without the need for redundant data entry.
By expanding the range of services covered under the integration, CCC and Elitek are responding to the evolving realities of collision repair. Vehicles are becoming more technologically sophisticated, repair procedures are increasingly complex, and many facilities face ongoing workforce shortages. In this environment, subletting specialized tasks to trusted partners like Elitek has become more common, and the ability to manage these services efficiently is critical.
Streamlining Operations in a High-Complexity Repair Landscape
As the automotive industry evolves, collision repairers are confronted with a unique set of challenges. Modern vehicles often incorporate advanced safety systems, intricate electronics, and sophisticated materials that require specialized expertise. This complexity can stretch a shop’s internal capabilities, making partnerships with outside service providers essential.
“Repairers are dealing with a perfect storm of challenges—rising vehicle complexity, staffing constraints, and increased demand for precision in documentation,” explained Mark Fincher, Vice President of Product Management at CCC. “Many shops rely on sublet partners to perform specialized services, and managing that workflow can become cumbersome. By expanding our integration with Elitek, we’re giving these shops the ability to handle sublet services more efficiently, reduce manual administrative steps, and improve the completeness of their repair documentation—all within the familiar CCC ONE environment they already use.”
The integration is designed with ease of adoption in mind. For existing CCC and Elitek customers, there is no additional cost to activate the expanded capabilities. This allows repair facilities to begin benefiting from the automation immediately, without the barrier of new implementation fees.
How the Integration Works
Under the enhanced system, when Elitek performs a mobile sublet service at a collision repair facility, the associated service documentation—such as work orders, calibration certificates, mechanical service records, or electrical repair reports—is digitally attached to the corresponding CCC ONE workfile.
This eliminates the traditional, often tedious, process of manually gathering paperwork from multiple sources, scanning documents, renaming files, and uploading them into the shop’s repair management system. Instead, the integration ensures that all relevant information is securely and automatically stored alongside the rest of the repair record.
This has several key benefits for collision repair businesses:
- Improved Efficiency – Administrative staff spend less time tracking and entering data, freeing them to focus on higher-value activities.
- Error Reduction – Automated data transfer reduces the risk of misplaced paperwork or incomplete records.
- Enhanced Compliance – With complete documentation stored in one place, repair facilities are better equipped to meet insurer, OEM, and regulatory requirements.
- Better Customer Communication – Shops can more easily share accurate and detailed service records with vehicle owners, improving transparency and trust.
Elitek’s Role in the Collision Repair Ecosystem
Elitek Vehicle Services is known for its ability to deliver high-quality mobile diagnostics and sublet services directly to repair facilities. By bringing specialized expertise and equipment on-site, Elitek enables collision centers to offer a wider range of services without having to invest in additional staff or infrastructure.
“Our mission has always been to make life easier for repairers,” said Glen Dixon, Senior Director of North American Operations for Elitek Vehicle Services. “Through this expanded integration with CCC, we’re adding even more value for our customers. By automatically incorporating documentation from a broader set of our services into CCC ONE, we’re helping shops save time, reduce administrative friction, and focus on what they do best—returning vehicles to pre-accident condition.”
The services now covered under the expanded integration include:
- ADAS Calibrations – Critical for ensuring vehicle safety systems function as intended after repairs.
- Mechanical Repairs – Handling repairs beyond a collision center’s in-house expertise.
- Electrical Services – Troubleshooting and fixing complex wiring and component issues.
- Other Specialized Sublet Services – Covering a wide range of unique repair needs.
Flexibility for Repairers Through the CCC Diagnostics Network
Elitek is one of several participating providers in the CCC Diagnostics Network, a collaborative ecosystem of diagnostics and sublet service partners. This network gives collision repairers flexibility in choosing providers that align best with their needs while ensuring consistent documentation standards.
By integrating multiple providers into a single platform, CCC ONE helps maintain uniformity in how diagnostic and sublet service records are captured and stored. This uniformity simplifies insurer communications, facilitates accurate estimating, and supports the documentation required for OEM repair certification programs.
Meeting the Demands of a Changing Industry
The partnership between CCC and Elitek reflects a broader industry trend: the push toward greater digitization and automation in collision repair. As vehicles become more connected and complex, repair documentation is no longer optional—it is essential for liability protection, insurer reimbursement, and customer satisfaction.
The integration addresses a pain point that many repairers have long faced: how to efficiently manage and document specialized services that occur outside of their own facilities. By automating this process, the CCC–Elitek collaboration frees up valuable time and resources, allowing repairers to focus more on the technical and customer-facing aspects of their work.
With no additional costs for existing users, the enhanced integration is also a low-barrier way for shops to embrace technology-driven efficiency. For both companies, the move represents a continued commitment to supporting the collision repair industry through innovation and collaboration.
