Mahindra Tractors Unveils Tricolour-Inspired Limited-Edition Models to Mark Republic Day
Mahindra Tractors, a flagship division of the Mahindra Group, has announced the launch of its Limited-Edition Mahindra Tractors to commemorate India’s Republic Day. Designed to reflect the spirit of patriotism and national pride, these special-edition tractors draw inspiration from the Indian tricolour and celebrate the country’s unity, resilience, and enduring agricultural strength. The initiative also pays tribute to India’s farmers, whose dedication continues to play a pivotal role in driving the nation’s economic and social progress.
The Republic Day Limited-Edition tractors are being introduced in three distinctive tricolour-inspired shades—Metallic Orange, Everest White, and Metallic Green—each symbolising the values embedded in India’s national flag. Beyond their striking visual appeal, these colours represent courage, peace, growth, and prosperity, reinforcing Mahindra’s deep-rooted connection with rural India and the farming community.
As part of this special rollout, Mahindra Tractors will offer the Limited-Edition Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI 4WD, one of the company’s most popular next-generation tractor models. Engineered to elevate the overall ownership experience, these tractors combine advanced technology, robust performance, and thoughtful design enhancements. The Metallic Green variant stands out further, as it comes equipped with a full suite of limited-edition accessories, including a rope, a jerrican, and a Mahindra flag—adding both functional value and a symbolic expression of pride.
Commenting on the launch, Parikshit Ghosh, Vice President & Head – Marketing and National Business Operations (Sales, Channel & Customer Care Division), Mahindra Tractors, highlighted the deeper purpose behind the initiative. He noted that when pride aligns with purpose, it leads to meaningful innovation. According to Ghosh, the Republic Day Limited Editions of the Mahindra Yuvo Tech+ tractor not only enhance visual character but also symbolise progress and Mahindra’s continued commitment to empowering farmers as the backbone of the country’s development. He added that the tractors will be available at select Mahindra Tractors dealerships across India starting January 26.
At the core of the Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI Limited Edition is a powerful and reliable four-cylinder engine, built to meet the demanding requirements of modern farming. The tractor delivers a maximum PTO output of 33.9 kW (45.4 HP), ensuring consistent and efficient performance across a wide range of agricultural operations. With a peak torque of 215 Nm and an impressive 18 per cent backup torque, the tractor is well-equipped to handle heavy-duty tasks, challenging soil conditions, and prolonged working hours without compromising efficiency.
Designed for versatility, the Yuvo Tech+ 585 DI Limited Edition features a 2000 kg hydraulic lift capacity, enabling farmers to operate a broad spectrum of implements with ease. This makes it suitable for diverse applications such as ploughing, harvesting, haulage, and land preparation. The tractor is fitted with a dual clutch, MSPTO, and an auxiliary valve, enhancing operational flexibility and enabling seamless power delivery to attached equipment.
Transmission capabilities further add to the tractor’s adaptability. With a 12-forward and 3-reverse gear configuration, operators benefit from precise speed control and smoother transitions across different field conditions. This setup allows farmers to optimise productivity while maintaining control, whether working on dry land, wet fields, or uneven terrain.
Operator comfort has also been prioritised in the design. Power steering significantly reduces physical strain during long working hours, improving manoeuvrability and ease of use. The tractor rides on 9.5 x 20-inch front tyres and 14.9 x 28-inch rear tyres, offering enhanced stability, superior traction, and reliable performance in both dry and wet farming environments.
