Ford Performance Launches Program to Discover Mustang Racing Talent

Ford Performance returns to the 2024 Rebelle Rally with a five-truck lineup, as it continues its partnership with the all-women’s off-road competition as a second-year Silver Sponsor. The team is looking to build on a successful 2023 effort, which included a historic fourth consecutive X-CROSS win. Ford brings back a powerhouse team featuring vehicles from the Bronco family and the debut of the Ford Ranger Raptor, ready to compete in one of the most unique and challenging rallies in the world.

The Rebelle Rally is no ordinary off-road race. Spanning over 1,500 miles of unforgiving Nevada and California desert terrain, it is the longest all-women’s off-road navigation rally in the U.S. Competitors must navigate using only maps and compasses, pushing both their skills and the durability of their vehicles to the limit. Entries are largely stock models—vehicles you can find at a dealership—proving their capability in extreme real-world conditions.

The Rebelle Rally embodies exploration, endurance, and empowerment,” said Mark Rushbrook, Ford Performance Motorsports global director. “These stock off-road vehicles are taking on some of the toughest challenges without GPS or cell phones, proving their durability and capability.”

The 2024 Ford Performance Team:

  • Bailey Campbell and Sedona Blinson – Ford Ranger Raptor: After victories in the Baja 1000 and Finke off-road race, the Ranger Raptor makes its Rebelle Rally debut with Bailey Campbell and Sedona Blinson, showcasing its off-road performance prowess.
  • Melissa Clark and Kathryn Reinhardt – Bronco Sport Sasquatch Package: Returning after three consecutive X-CROSS Class wins, Melissa Clark drives the Bronco Sport, now equipped with the Sasquatch package. Partnered with Kathryn Reinhardt, they aim to continue their winning streak.
  • Shelby Hall and Rori Lewis – Ford Bronco Raptor: Veteran off-roader Shelby Hall teams up with Rori Lewis again in the Bronco Raptor, aiming to replicate their Stock Mid-Size class success from the Vegas to Reno race.
  • Laura Wanlass and Penny Dale – Ford Bronco Raptor: With three consecutive podium finishes, Laura Wanlass and Penny Dale return in the Bronco Raptor, looking to build on past success.
  • Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith – Ford Bronco Wildtrak: 2022’s Rebelle Rally Rookies of the Year, Karisa Haydon and Trista Smith, return with the Bronco Wildtrak, a production vehicle built for rugged off-road routes.

Ford Performance’s involvement in the Rebelle Rally highlights its commitment to women in motorsports and the endurance of its stock vehicles in demanding environments. The 2024 Rebelle Rally kicks off on October 10, and Ford’s five-truck team is ready to showcase its leadership in off-road performance.
