Bowman Consulting Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: BWMN), a national engineering services firm specializing in infrastructure solutions, has completed the installation and activation of its first company-owned, stand-alone electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at its Burlington, VT office. The two ChargePoint EV stations are now available for public, client, corporate fleet, and employee use, highlighting Bowman’s commitment to sustainability and reducing environmental impact.
This installation is part of Bowman’s broader strategy to expand its portfolio of sustainability-focused services and improve its environmental footprint. The EV charging stations were funded through the State of Vermont Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Grant Program, supported by the Vermont Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). The project, initially started by Trudell Consulting Engineers—acquired by Bowman in January 2024—was completed following the acquisition.
Over the past two years, Bowman has been integrating electric vehicles into its national fleet, aligning with its mission and infrastructure availability.
Gary Bowman, chairman and CEO, commented, “The installation of this EV charging system at our Burlington office represents a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship. This initiative provides valuable benefits to our employees, clients, and the community. We are eager to undertake similar projects in the future, both for our customers and ourselves.
